For the past few weeks I have been feeling not quite my happy self and I had to know what was causing me to feel out of sorts. I asked around and several people said to me “you have to learn how to make myself happy in minutes” by exercising, call a friend, jot down 3 things you are grateful for and set an intention for your day.
My response was I take the kids to school, cook, clean and do all the things necessary to keep a happy home, but some how that was not enough for me. I was told to do aerobic exercise, call a friend, jot down 3 things you are grateful for in your life, and set an intention for your day. The same things I was told prior.
The strategies above were told to me, I on the other hand added my own… singing which lifted me up so high. I felt happier than I ever did before.
Singing lifts me up every time I feel down but I thought that in order to be happy like most people, I needed to do something bold. That is not the case at all. I needed some nourishment to energize me to live a happy life.
Doing aerobic exercise on a consistent basis does leave a person feeling positive at a time when you need it the most.
Calling a good friend can indeed give you happiness and better health. Conversing with an old friend can have long lasting positive effect to the point of increasing your energy and raising your motivation.
Many people keep a journal to jot down the things they are most grateful . By identifying 3 things has shown to provide a long lasting effect on one’s happiness.
Set a daily intention to help guide your day as you sit in the driver’s seat where you can conscious decisions, rather than just reacting to demands.

Moms, rise and shine! This is a new day to start out fresh with your newly acquired friend. It is morning! As mothers we all know how we dread the morning hours getting the kids up and ready for school as we prepare ourselves. So, as the new year is here let us try 3 things to make our day run smoother. All my life I have heard my mom say “the early bird catches the worm”, I had no clue what she was talking about until now. By rising early you can accomplish more than the ones who do not, and at the same time increase your health. I want to share 3 things successful moms (parents) can do before 8am.
1. Exercise: I believe that every mom works out but are no doing it in a constructive and organized manner. I know that when you arise early(5am) and stretch, pushups, peddle your bike or run in place, use the treadmill , or a little yoga you feel energized and ready to take on the day. At first it will not be easy but as you press forward, you will increase you vim and vigor.
2. Plan Your Day: Planning out your day helps you set your goals and things to do, as well as your schedule for the day. The morning is the best time for this as it is the only time you get real quiet in your day. This time helps you to reflect and put things in order of importance for the day. Always plan a brief moment to meditate should you have a stressful day. Eat healthy snacks to stay mentally focused.
3. Plan And Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Having a soda and donut for breakfast because your late is not a healthy way to eat. Your stomach growls because there is nothing nutritious in your body furnace to break the fast. Take a few extra minutes to prepare healthy meals for you and your family as everyone focuses on their tasks and not the noise others are hearings their stomach turns. By taking a few minutes to connect with the family improves your physical health. Keep your spirits high as you eat a healthy breakfast daily.
I hope you find these 3 successful things worthy of accomplishing before 8am.
